To take on the challenge of creating a product packaging solution, I decided to come up with my own brand of perfume. Ira Perfume displays a sophisticated and minimalist design to reflect the high quality perfume product as well as its high sustainability values.

Packaging Components
There is strong use of geometric shapes in both the package design as well as the glass bottle itself, taking after Ira’s main visual elements. This product is mainly targeted towards women aged between 18-35. The packaging created showcases two scents, peach and grape, to demonstrate the versatility of the package design which still maintains a strong, unified brand identity. Ira implements sustainable packaging through its recyclable perfume box, ditching the traditional plastic protective sleeve, plant-based film for the diamond-shaped windows, eco-friendly sticker labels and mushroom-based material for the perfume case.
Social Tiles
The brand effectively appeals to the audience through the soft colour palette, the smooth and high-quality ‘silk feel’ which is emphasised in the branding photos and positive environmental practices.
The logo is shaped like a diamond and is lined with a gold outline, further emphasising the ‘rich’ feel of the product. The name ‘ira’ utilises the font Campaign Black which gives the dot in ‘i’ the same diamond shape, making this shape a significant symbol of the brand. I created a primary logo which is a dark grey and two other logos that go with each scent, where the grape scent is blue-green, and the peach is a soft pink. There is strong use of colour to differentiate between the scents whilst still maintaining consistency and a unified brand identity. The product label and the outer package employ the same geometric and diamond-like shapes which change colour in accordance with the scent.
Ira implements sustainable packaging through its recyclable perfume box, ditching the traditional plastic protective sleeve, plant-based film for the diamond-shaped windows, Eco-friendly sticker labels and mushroom- based material for the perfume case. The brand also uses recyclable fill such as honey-comb paper and wood wool instead of plastic-based fill.
